A Yu-Gi-Oh deck has three parts, each with its own limits.
| Zone | Size | What goes in it |
|---|---|---|
| Main Deck | 40–60 cards | Normal, Effect and Ritual monsters, ordinary Pendulum monsters, all Spells and Traps |
| Extra Deck | up to 15 | Fusion, Synchro, Xyz and Link monsters, including Pendulum versions of those |
| Side Deck | up to 15 | Cards you can swap in between games |
Forty is the sweet spot for the Main Deck: every card above 40 lowers your chance of drawing your key cards.
The deck builder sorts every card into the right zone by its type, so a deck can't end up with a monster in the wrong place. It flags size, copy and banlist problems but never blocks saving a deck in progress.
Stats shows your Monster / Spell / Trap split, attribute and level distributions, and the probability of drawing at least one of your key cards in your opening five.
