Can I build a deck together with friends on TCGSwap?

Yes. Every deck on TCGSwap has a Collaboration Space. You can invite up to 5 friends; they can suggest card changes, discuss ideas, and playtest proposals. You review and apply suggestions before anything changes in your deck.

How does deck collaboration work?

It works like a pull request for your deck. Collaborators open the deck editor, make their proposed changes, and submit a suggestion with a note. You get notified, open the comparison view to see exactly what they changed, and choose to apply all, cherry-pick individual cards, or decline. Nothing changes in your deck until you approve it.

Can collaborators chat and discuss the deck?

Yes. The Collaboration Space has a shared group discussion thread for the whole deck, plus a per-suggestion Q&A thread for each proposal. You can @mention teammates and link specific cards inline.

Is collaborative deck building free?

Yes, collaboration is free for all TCGSwap users during beta. You can invite up to 5 collaborators per deck.

Does TCGSwap work for MTG, Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh and One Piece collaboration?

Yes. The Collaboration Space supports all four games — Magic: The Gathering, Pokémon TCG, Yu-Gi-Oh and One Piece. Format validation and card prices are included for each game.

How to import a Magic deck from Moxfield, Archidekt, DeckBox or Deckstats

For Magic: The Gathering, the best file to bring over is a DeckBox-format CSV. It includes Scryfall IDs, which pinpoint the exact printing of each card — so your foil showcase art comes across as the foil showcase art, not just "a copy of the card".

Step 1: export from your deck site

Moxfield — open the deck, click Export (the down-arrow in the action bar) and choose DeckBox CSV.

Archidekt — open the deck, click Actions (top right), then Export → CSV.

DeckBox — open the deck, click Export near the top and choose CSV.

Deckstats — open the deck, find the Export section (or the deck options menu), choose DeckBox and download the file.

TappedOut, MTGGoldfish or EDHREC?

These only export plain text, without Scryfall IDs. The workaround: create a new deck on Moxfield, use its Import to paste your list, then export the DeckBox CSV from there.

Step 2: import into TCGSwap

Go to Decks and tap Import.
Drop in the .csv file.
Name the deck, choose Magic: The Gathering and a format if you like, then tap Import.

Importing from your own spreadsheet

If you keep your cards in Excel or Google Sheets, you can import them as a CSV with these column headers in the first row:

Count — number of copies
Name — the card name exactly as printed
Scryfall ID — optional. Without it the importer matches by name and picks the most recent printing.

Save it as CSV — in Excel, File → Save As → CSV (Comma delimited); in Google Sheets, File → Download → Comma Separated Values.

After importing

Check the card count and legality badge, and open the import report (Details) for anything that wasn't found. Imported cards are marked as owned — if it's a wishlist deck, clear that from Profile → Have. Then try Commander and format validation and the playtest tools.
