Can I build a deck together with friends on TCGSwap?

Yes. Every deck on TCGSwap has a Collaboration Space. You can invite up to 5 friends; they can suggest card changes, discuss ideas, and playtest proposals. You review and apply suggestions before anything changes in your deck.

How does deck collaboration work?

It works like a pull request for your deck. Collaborators open the deck editor, make their proposed changes, and submit a suggestion with a note. You get notified, open the comparison view to see exactly what they changed, and choose to apply all, cherry-pick individual cards, or decline. Nothing changes in your deck until you approve it.

Can collaborators chat and discuss the deck?

Yes. The Collaboration Space has a shared group discussion thread for the whole deck, plus a per-suggestion Q&A thread for each proposal. You can @mention teammates and link specific cards inline.

Is collaborative deck building free?

Yes, collaboration is free for all TCGSwap users during beta. You can invite up to 5 collaborators per deck.

Does TCGSwap work for MTG, Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh and One Piece collaboration?

Yes. The Collaboration Space supports all four games — Magic: The Gathering, Pokémon TCG, Yu-Gi-Oh and One Piece. Format validation and card prices are included for each game.

Affiliate disclosure

TCG Swap is free to use. To help cover running costs, some links to card shops and marketplaces are affiliate links: if you click one and then buy something, TCG Swap may earn a small commission. You pay exactly the same price either way.

Who we have affiliate links with

TCGplayer: "Buy" links on card pages and the deck "Buy" menu.
CardTrader: "Buy" links on card pages. CardTrader pays us a referral share.
eBay: "Search eBay" links on card pages.

Links to Cardmarket are ordinary links and earn us nothing.

What this does and doesn't affect

CardTrader is listed first and highlighted as our preferred marketplace, because it pays us a referral share. The prices themselves are market estimates gathered from each marketplace and are never changed.
Deck lists, set pages, guides and recommendations are not paid for by anyone.
Affiliate links are marked as sponsored, and the shop links on each card carry a short note saying some are affiliate links.
We don't pass your personal data to these shops. The link only tells the shop that the visit came from TCG Swap.

Some public pages also show Google ads to visitors who aren't signed in. How those ads and their cookies work is explained in the privacy policy.
